The Automobile Club Surety Bond is required by the state of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. The Bond amount (Penalty) required is $20,000. This Bond is required of principals that have applied for an authorization certificate to operate an Automobile Club or Association. The principal will be required to observe all rules and regulations of operation of said club or organization from the Department of Commerce. This Bond also ensures the principal will comply with all local and state laws.
Tennessee Automobile Clubs are required under the Tennessee Codes Annotated section 55-18-101 to file a Tennessee Automobile Club Bond as a condition of licensure.
